CHARGES All items purchased in an on-line auction via the website or otherwise are subject to the addition of 22.5% Buyers Premium plus Sales Tax (where applicable) on the Buyers premium at the current rate of the Country in which the items are situated. All items are sold as seen with no recourse in the event of fault to the Vendor. It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to satisfy themselves as to the condition of the item they wish to bid on. The description of a lot by the auctioneer in the language of the auction is the governing description. Any translation using translation tools is a guide only - its accuracy cannot be guaranteed and is used at your own risk. Purchasers are responsible for payment by bank transfer ONLY within 5 days of notice of purchase. CASH and CHEQUE payments will not be accepted. Where a sale has a combined lot that permits bidding on all or selected lots within a sale then the Auctioneer reserves the right to accept the combined lot bid against the individual bids. It is the responsibility of the purchaser or their agent to arrange for the safe removal of these lots. The purchaser or their agents must also provide Proof of Competency, Method Statements & full Insurance documentation prior to any removal. The Vendor reserves the right to refuse or rescind any bids where they are not wholly satisfied with any of the above documentation. Any damage to buildings is the responsibility of the Purchaser & must be made good and safe and the entire area left clean and tidy. LIABILITY Where the purchaser contemplates the items may be used again for their original purpose, the purchaser must accept responsibility as necessary for having the equipment decontaminated, sterilised, serviced and calibrated/certified before use and thereafter maintained appropriately and take whatever steps are necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, its continued safe and effective use and without risk to health when properly used and for following any instructions, advice or warnings issued by the manufacturer or other competent body. The vendors of the goods purchased accept no responsibility for the use or condition of the item and this shall survive the completion of the sale. REMOVAL Items must be paid for in full 5 days after notification & removed by the date specified. The Auctioneers will not accept responsibility for items not collected by the specified removal date, noting that title only passes upon removal of lots from the premises. If a courier or transport company is sent to collect the items purchased it is essential that they are provided with the buyers name & number, the sale number and the invoice number/s and that the carrier has the resources/equipment and packaging etc to effect the removal. Items not collected by the specified date will be subject to a storage charge, payable by the Purchaser upon demand, prior to release of the goods. For any items exported, official proof of export MUST be submitted to the Auctioneers within 3 months of the export date to qualify for Sales Tax exemption.
